It also incorporates Shimano’s exclusive heat sink coating which disperses heat evenly across the braid throughout those long hard fights, reducing damage to your line. The VT construction method means all 8 carriers are woven at even angles under high tension, this results in a round profile and a smooth finish which aids all aspects of casting and jigging. The Grappler PE 8 is suited to all Shimano Saltwater Reels and its available in 300m spools from PE 0.8 to PE 8.0.
